The Ignite project is an outreach that focuses on pre-teens and teenagers. It is geared towards inculcating Godliness and resourcefulness to humanity. As the name implies, Ignite seeks to 'catch them young and while they are still mouldable. It follows the biblical thought that encourages to 'train up a child in the way that he should go'. In the words of Chap Clark, "Adolescents need adults. The problem is not that adults cannot reach adolescents. The problem is that adults have not invested the time, energy and commitment to reach adolescents." With Ignite, LightWk takes the responsibility of taking the first step. We initiate steps to close the generational gap and establish healthy relationships between adolescents and adults, in a godly manner and through godly patterns. We also reach out to them in order to share life and love using the Gospel of Christ. The aim of this sharing is to inspire them to also learn life and share their faith at all times as fuelled by love. Using the arts skill sets they relate with best, we roll up our sleeves and go to them, listen to them, engage them and unconditionally care for them." LightWk uses strategies like bible quizzes, memorizations, debates, bible studies and boot camps to help them learn about Christ and how they can be missionaries wherever they find themselves.
