Ablaze

As the name implies, Ablaze seeks to set the hearts of young people on fire for missions. This is done through training, mission conferences, seminars, retreats and other similar avenues. Ablaze focuses on training individuals and groups for missions. The Ablaze project takes place thrice a year: Every February, LightWk has a Mission Conference that seeks to train, teach and equip young people for missions. Seasoned speakers and missionaries are invited from different missionary agencies and ministries to facilitate these sessions. Every July, a mission retreat is embarked on where young missionaries converge to pray, learn, share experiences with other young missionaries and re-strategize on how to effectively be ambassadors for Christ in each mission field they find themselves. Every December, a mission review is done to evaluate the work done in the year: This enables the organization to evaluate and assess its impact and find ways to improve. The Ablaze project hopes to evolve into a more elaborate and extensive training school and project for aspiring missionaries across all demography.
